What does your username mean? It started out as my LLC name for Face Painting, but has expanded to cover all art.
Describe yourself in three words. Impulsive, nerdy, experimental

The Switch
Good Morning!!!
I have been toying with the thought of quitting my full time job to pursue art. It is a difficult choice, as I am independent and have bills to pay (as do we all). As of right now, however, I am simply going to scale back my "work" load and do a smoother transition.
I will be face painting at 2 farmer's markets this summer.... and should earn about $10,000 from them. That should give me a good jump start to living off of my art.
I am also in negotiations to do a LARGE mural that will bring in about $4,000. I am hoping to get more like this.
As an effort to grow my art and excel, I have started a challenge inspired by DA'
Updates
WOW! It's been a while since I have updated with a journal. So I wanted to touch base, here is what I'm up to:
Working full time for a company doing Graphic Design, but have decided that I'm going to move out of that field briefly because I feel I have lost touch with my roots in art. I'm currently looking for another job and will continue doing art on the side.
I have been busy illustrating coloring books for multiple clients as well as a few other random projects.
I am still painting faces, the season is about to start and I am excited because I have upgraded my booth and hope to bring in even MORE business than last year!

Devious Journal Entry
Wow! SUCH a long time since I last wrote a journal and so much has happened! Here is where I am at:
I have officially graduated from college with a degree in Graphic Design and have been working in my profession since May. I am a private designer for a company based in Utah and I have to admit, I LOVE it!!!
I get to design web graphics as well as packages and they are even having me branch off into the world of fashion!
I am still doing chalk art festivals (in fact I have one coming up next weekend in Marietta, GA) and my face painting (which I do every weekend, and earn roughly $500 a day).
I am gradually getting more time to do hobby art
